A beautiful, Brazilian, beach wedding with an elegant and tropical twist

We honestly couldn’t be happier with our stunning wedding invitations! Raquel did an incredible job designing something that truly felt unique and custom-made to us, beautifully inspired by the natural charm of our ocean-view venue in Brazil.
She took key elements from our vision board and crafted an invitation suite that was even more gorgeous than we had imagined. Opting for the all-inclusive service was one of our best decisions... wedding planning can be overwhelming, and it was such a relief to trust Raquel from the initial concept to mailing and delivery. We received so many compliments from our friends and family members, and we love that we now have a keepsake to cherish and display in our house (and yes, we have it displayed on one of our shelves). A beach wedding in Brazil. For Gabi and Gabriel, a Brazilian couple deeply connected to their roots, there was no better place to exchange vows than Búzios, the picturesque island town known for its stunning coastline.
At the heart of the invitation suite was a custom watercolor painting of the venue, a special tribute crafted by the bride’s mother. This personal touch made the invitations not just a means of communication but a cherished keepsake.
For the invitation, I incorporated a refined, letterpressed monogram of their initials (both Gs!) intertwined in a symbol of their unity.
To echo the bride's love of cane and rattan, Brazilian furniture material, I had a laser-cut sleeve created in a traditional cane design, with an archway window highlighting the invitation details.
I also designed a bespoke pattern, inspired by traditional Portuguese and Brazilian tiles and also symbolizing two Gs. It was used throughout the invitation suite, on envelopes liners and RSVP cards, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for guests from the moment they opened their invitations.
This design didn’t stop at the invitations. The couple loved the tile-inspired pattern so much that they incorporated it into the wedding itself, most notably on the dance floor. Seeing my design transformed from paper to a large-scale, immersive experience was incredibly rewarding. The pattern became a focal point of the reception, tying together tradition, art, and celebration in a way that felt deeply personal to Gabi and Gabriel.
